Reserves
Chawathil First Nation is made up of 5 reserves. These are Hope IR#1, Schkam IR#2, Greenwood Island IR#3, Chawuthen IR#4, and Tunnel IR#6.
Location Description
The main Chawathil community is located on IR#4 which is located on the north side of the Fraser River, approximately 10 km. west of the Town of Hope on Highway 7. The Bands other residential community, Schkam, is located on IR 2 just north of the Town of Hope on Highway 1, the Trans-Canada Highway.
Land Base
The total land base of Chawathil First Nation is 614.1 hectares (1517 acres). This land is divided up into the following reserves:
